William A. Savitski, 93, of Milford passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at his residence.
He was the husband of the late Lenore J. (Staszko) Savitski who died in 1994.
Mr. Savitski was employed for 20 years at Continental Baking Co. in Natick, retiring in 1987.
He was born Jan. 14, 1925 in Eddystone, PA, son of the late Anthony and Theresa (Slowinska) Savitski and had served in U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Sgt. John W. Powers American Legion Post #59 of Milford.
Bill is survived by his son-in-law Bob Stockton and his close friend Philip Stockton both of Milford. He was predeceased by his daughter Carol Stockton, five brothers, Edward, Peter, Stanley, Marion, and Alfred Savitski, and two sisters, Helen and Pauline.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday Sept. 25, 2018 from 2 – 4 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford followed by a prayer service, with Military Honors, at 4 PM in the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, Maine.
Memorial donations may be made to a veteran’s organization or an animal shelter of one’s choice.
