Obituary for Ronald J. Belliveau

Ronald J. Belliveau, 72, of Mendon passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA.

Mr. Belliveau was born December 13, 1946 in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of the late Auguste and Marie-Anne (Bastarache) Belliveau and had been a resident of Canada for thirty years before moving to Mendon in 2008.

Ronald enjoyed working outdoors, making puzzles, Westerns, Elvis and he especially loved the time he spent with his great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a resident of the Blaire House, Milford MA for the past year and cherished his friends and the staff there, and received treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Milford where he made many friends. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of the Blaire House and Dana-Farber for his care.

Ronald is survived by his brother, Leonard Belliveau of Mendon, six nephews: Leonard Jr., Brian, Kenneth, David, Michael and Mark, 13 great-nieces and great-nephews and 1 great-great nephew. He was predeceased by his sister, Maria Cormier, and by his beloved sister-in-law and best friend Theresa Belliveau.

A memorial mass will be held on Sat. Feb. 2, 2019 at 2 PM in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 151 Mendon St., Upton, MA.

Burial will be held at a later date in St. Marie, New Brunswick, Canada.
