Obituary for Jean L. Reese

Jean L. (Accorsi) Reese, 56, a lifelong resident of Bellingham, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 in UMass Medical Center, Worcester.

She was born in Milford in 1962 daughter of the late Robert D. and Ethel L. (Gaskill) Accorsi.

Jean was a member of the Franklin Elks and a lifelong member of St. Brendan’s Church in Bellingham. She enjoyed birdwatching in her backyard, gardening, the Boston Red Sox and her cat “Bella”.

Her life centered around her son Frankie.

Jean is survived by her son, Frankie Reese, Jr. of Bellingham; three sisters, Joyce A. and her husband Warren Lavigne of Milford, Barbara J. Lister of Naugatuck, CT and Donna M. and her husband Robert Paventy of Cheshire, CT; her former husband, Franklin J. Reese, Sr. of Milford; three brothers, Robert C. Accorsi of Douglas, Mark A. Accorsi of Douglas, and Gary M. and his wife Janet Accorsi of Blackstone; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Brendan’s Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver St., Franklin.
