Obituary for Vivian P. Wirsing

Vivian P. (Jewer) Wirsing, 95, of Milford passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham. She was the wife of the late George P. Wirsing who died in 2013.

Vivian was born November 25, 1922 in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Alfred and Mary (Rowsell) Jewer. She graduated from Cambridge Latin School in Cambridge, MA.

Mrs. Wirsing had lived in Medway most of her life before moving to Milford 12 years ago. She was very artistic and enjoyed being out in her gardens.

She is survived by three daughters, Rev. Diane L. Klemann and her husband Dr. Lawrence Klemann, PhD. of Pearland, TX, Lynn E. and her husband Robert “Robin” Philbin of Milford, Susan A. Crowley of Milford and her son, Robin C. Wirsing and his companion Carol of Orlando, FL her sister, Barbara H. Calnan of Medway; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A combined graveside service will be held for Vivian P. Wirsing and her husband George P. Wirsing, with full Military Honors, Friday September 7, 2018 at 10 AM in the Evergreen Cemetery, Cottage St., Medway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
