Obituary for Kenneth H. Heney

Kenneth H. Heney, 67, of Whitinsville passed away Tuesday June 19, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Robin L. (Magill) Heney.
A lifelong resident of Northbridge, Mr. Heney was a truck driver for the former D.J. Farm Supply and Mass. Steel Treating. Later, he was an engineer at the former Worcester Centrum in Worcester.
He was born and raised in Northbridge, the son of the late Daniel and Lucille (Ouellet) Heney.
Ken loved to prepare and host an occasional pig roast, enjoyed fishing, and took great pride in his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Robin, he is survived by two daughters Melanie Heney and Cassie Heney both of Whitinsville; two step-daughters Bethann Davis of Hopedale and Heather Watson of New Bedford; four grandchildren Zoe, Austin, Faith, and Robbie; a sister-in-law Karen Heney; a brother-in-law Rene Healey; a lifelong friend Robert and his wife Lillian Chenevert, and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Lucille M. Healey and a brother Daniel R. Heney.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday June 23, 2018 from 9 - 10 :30 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville followed by a graveside funeral service at 11 AM in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Providence Road, Whitinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
