John J. Camelli
Milford John J. Camelli, 72, Jefferson St. died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Joan L. (MacIssac) Camelli.
Mr. Camelli had been employed at the Kartiganer Hat Factory in Upton for many years retiring in 1967.
Mr. Camelli was born May 25, 1935 in Milford the son of the late Frank and Grace (Sebastian) Camelli and had been a longtime resident of Milford.
Mr. & Mrs. Camelli observed their 32nd wedding anniversary June 27, 2007.
Mr. Camelli was an active member of the Consumers Board of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four sons; David A. Ruddock and his wife Valorie of Milford, Michael J. and his wife Robin Ruddock of Lisbon, NH, James E. and his wife Pamela Ruddock of Hopedale, Kenneth J. and his wife Dina Ruddock of Douglas, four daughters; Katherine M. and her husband Thad Tirrell of No. Easton, Elizabeth A. and her husband David Mastroianni of Milford, Joan E. and her husband Edward Hackenson of Webster, and Ellen Ruddock of Milford; One brother, Charles Camelli and his wife Theresa of Woonsocket, RI; three sisters, Josephine Taft and Marie Cote both of Bellingham, and Frances Nuttle of VT. 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 19, 2008 at 9 AM from the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford followed by a Mass of the Ressurection at 10 AM in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford, MA 01757.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd. (Rt 109), Milford
Visiting hours will be Friday Jan. 18, 2008 from 4 7 PM in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Assc. or to the Cancer Care Center both at Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757
