Milford – Walter W. Persson, 67, of Milford died Mon. Dec. 24, 2012 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of Diane (Hourihan) Persson.

He was born March 11, 1945 in New Haven, CT the son of the late Nils and Irene (Bedard) Persson and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Vietnam.

Walter loved Jesus, attending church meetings with his Christian brethren, and singing. He was learned in math, science, and electronics. He had many fond memories of the years he and Diane lived in Arizona.


In addition to his wife Diane, he is survived by three step sons John A. Phelps of Milford, John T. Brunetti and Joseph R. Brunetti both of Douglas, one step daughter, Deanna M. Brunetti of Sutton; 5 step grandchildren; one brother Nils Conrad Persson of KS and one sister, Dorothy Ragucci of Fitchburg.

A memorial service will be held Sat. Jan. 5, 2013 at 2 PM in Grace Exchange Church, 55 Exchange St., Milford, MA. There are no public visiting hours. Arrangements by Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, Milford.
