David M. Birch
South Grafton - David M. Birch, 56, of South Grafton, passed away Tues. July 6, 2010 at home.
Mr. Birch was born in Worcester on Sept. 7, 1953 the son of the late Edward Brozowski and Sophie (Nowakowski) Brozowski of Worcester and was a graduate of UMASS, Amherst and earned his Masters degree from Boston University, Boston.
He was employed at Oracle Corporation, formerly Sun Microsystems, for 10 years in Burlington and Marlborough and had been a resident of S. Grafton for several years and had previously lived in Millbury.
He enjoyed UMASS football games at Amherst and was an active alumni member. He loved time spent in Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona and also liked to travel, bike, hike, walk, garden and camp.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters; Meaghan A. Birch of Auburn and Kristen M. Birch of Whitinsville, a brother Peter Brozowski of the Philippine Islands; nieces, nephews, cousins and his former wife Diane F. (Howard) Birch of Northbridge.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1 PM in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St., Worcester, MA 01603.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grafton Land Trust Inc. P.O. Box 114, Grafton, MA 01519.
