Annette M. Ploof

Hopkinton – Annette M. (Garagliano) Ploof, 62, passed away at home on Sat. July 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Martin J. Ploof Jr.

Mrs. Ploof was the legal secretary at the law office of Gattoni & Gattoni in Milford for 36 years.

Mrs. Ploof was born Sept. 4, 1947 in Milford, the daughter of the late Helen E. (Seghezzi) Garagliano and Paul Garagliano of Whitinsville. She was a long time resident of Milford before moving to Hopkinton 32 years ago. Mrs. Ploof was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1965.

Mr. & Mrs. Ploof observed their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov. 1, 2009.

Mrs. Ploof was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Milford for more than 37 years. She and her husband have traveled throughout the world. Mrs. Ploof enjoyed gardening, cooking and had a fondness for antiques.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer E. and her husband Evan J. Kane of Upton, Julie A. and her husband James J. Uthoff of Uxbridge, one brother, Paul M. Garagliano of Hudson, one sister, Claudia A. Burrill of Uxbridge, five grandchildren; Meghan H. Kane, Braden J. Kane, Joseph M. Kane, Benjamin J. Uthoff, Mason M. Uthoff and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wed. July 7, 2010 at 9 AM from the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, followed by at “Celebration of Life with Eucharist” at 10 AM In the Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress St., Milford, 01757.

Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Upton.

Calling hours will be Tues. July 6, 2010 from 5-8 PM in the Buma Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA 01757.
