Albert G. Wilshire

Mendon – Albert G. Wilshire, 69, of Neck Hill Road died Monday June 7, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Alice M. Wilshire.

Mr. Wilshire was a salesman of environmental instrumentation for over 30 years before his retirement.

Mr. Wilshire was born March 26, 1941 in Patton, PA the son of the late Albert M. Wilshire and Agnes (Weakland) Wilshire of Patton, PA. He had been a resident of Mendon since 1977. Albert was a graduate of Patton High School and Indiana University of PA.


Mr. Wilshire served in the US Army as a Paratrooper and Navigator between 1959 and 1965.

Albert enjoyed reading, the outdoors and spending time with his family.


In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son; A. Jason Wilshire of Boston,
One daughter; Megan M. and her husband Chris Dupuis of Woonsocket, RI., two sisters; Amy Cence of Carrolltown, PA and Ruth Ann Kenaan of Glenshaw, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held Thursday June 17, 2010 at 10 AM St. Michael’s Church, North Ave., Mendon, 01756.

Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery, Mendon.

Visiting hours will be Wed. June 16, 2010 from 4-7 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA 01757.
