Uxbridge – Avtar Kaur (Rehel) Sidhu, 96, of Cold Spring Dr. died Sun. June 6, 2010 surrounded by her family at home. She was the wife of the late Gurdev Singh Sidhu who died in 2005.

Mrs. Sidhu was born in India, the daughter of the late Harnam Singh and Chand Rehel. She had lived in India most of her life before moving to Franklin and then Uxbridge. She was a member of the New England Sikh Study Circle of Milford.

Mrs. Sidhu leaves three sons; Rajvinder S. Sidhu of Maryland, Amarjit S. Sidhu of Uxbridge and Dr. Kanwarjit S. Sidhu of Hopedale, two daughters; Dr. Kuldeep K. Sidhu and Dr. Harminder Kaur, both of New Delhi, India, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A cremation service will be Friday June 11, 2010 from 1 – 2 PM in the Ellen Rogers Kennedy Chapel of the Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove St., Worcester, MA.

Religious services (Antam Bhog) will follow in the New England Sikh Study Circle, Main St. (Rte. 16), Milford from 6 – 9 PM.
