Whitinsville – Pauline M. (Cote) Duncan, 85, of Hill St. died Thurs. May 27, 2010 in St. Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville. She was the wife of Donald F. Duncan who died in 1988.

Mrs. Duncan was a self-employed hair stylist for 30 years.

She was born August 15, 1924 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Charles and Elmira (Dalpe) Cote. She was a graduate of the Angelo School of Cosmetology and Hair Design in Woonsocket, RI.

Mrs. Duncan had been a member of the former Assumption Church in Bellingham and served on the Ladies Sodality of St. Anne in the church’s Parish.

She is survived by one daughter Pamela R. and her husband Thomas Bachleda of Whitinsville, two brothers; Robert Cote of N. Smithfield, RI and Edmond Cote of Bellingham and one sister Virginia Cote of Bellingham.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Sat. May 29, 2010 at 8 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA 02019.
