Raymond W. Davis

North Attleboro – Raymond W. Davis, 78, of South Washington St. formerly of Hopedale, died Wed. May 19, 2010 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Mr. Davis was a retired inspector for the Foxboro Co.

He was born June 5, 1931 in Milford, son of the late Charles W. and Margaret C. (Pearson) Davis and he had been a resident of Hopedale, Franklin and Foxboro prior to moving to North Attleboro in 1983.

Mr. Davis was a graduate of the Worcester Boys Trade School where he majored in Machine Practice. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by two sons; Raymond W. Davis Jr. and Charles K. Davis both of Oregon.

Private graveside services with Full Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family in the Hopedale Village Cemetery, Hopedale, MA 01747.

There will be no public visiting hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Union Evangelical Church, Memorial Fund, 25 Dutcher St., Hopedale, MA 01747.
