Laura A. Ross

Mapleville, RI – Laura A. (Piwcio) Ross, 48, of Hillside Dr. died Tues., Feb. 23, 2010 in the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital, RI. She was the wife of Allan J. Ross.

Mrs. Ross was employed for 11 years at the Precision Tape and Label in Uxbridge.

She was born May 9, 1961 in Ludlow, MA daughter of Joseph and Charlotte (Cote) Piwcio of Douglas, MA. and she had attended New England Technical Institute. Laura had been a resident of the greater Uxbridge area before moving to Mapleville 23 years ago.

Mr. & Mrs. Ross observed their 25th wedding anniversary on July 28, 2009.

Mrs. Ross was a longtime member of the New England Archers Assoc.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter Tammy M. and her husband Eric Robinson of Mapleville, two sisters; Linda Lavallee of Douglas and Joanne Ledoux of Woonsocket, RI, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Feb. 27, 2010 at 10 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St. (Rte. 122), Uxbridge, MA 01569.

Visiting hours will be Fri. Feb. 26, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 130 Douglas St. Uxbridge, MA 01569
