Douglas - Alfred C. Borghi, Jr., 59, of Douglas and formerly of Milford passed away Fri. Feb. 12 in Umass Medical Center, Worcester. He was the husband of Susan F. Laczka Borghi.
He had worked for several years for the former New England Telephone. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Army.
He was born in Milford the son of the late Alfred C. Borghi and Gilda (Bernardi) Borghi of Easton and was a graduate of Milford HS.
In addition to his loving wife and mother, he is survived by a son Christopher Borghi of Milford, Susans daughters Kimberly Perkins of Douglas and Tracy Loughlin of Sutton; 3 brothers Paul Borghi, Steven Borghi, and Vincent Borghi; a sister Sandra Burke of Bourne, and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb. 18 at 6 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA 01757. Visiting hours will be Thurs. from 5 6 PM prior to the funeral service in the funeral home.
