Arlene Kenney

Uxbridge – Arlene (Pease) Kenney, 92, formerly of East Hartford Ave. died Tues. Feb. 2, 2010 in the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late George W. Kenney who died in 2001.

Mrs. Kenney was a secretary for the J.F. Cove Ins. Co. in Uxbridge for 14 years before her retirement in 1983. Prior to that, she had worked for 12 years for the former Carrick Ins. Co. in Whitinsville, the Harry B. Seagrave Ins.Co. and the Walter Lewis Ins. Co., both in Uxbridge.

She was born Dec. 30, 1917 in Beverly, MA. The daughter of the late Leon B. and Helen (Hollis) Pease and had been a resident of Uxbridge since 1933. Arlene was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 1935.

Mrs. Kenney is survived by one daughter, Karolyn H. and her husband Brian R. Lanciault of Northborough, three granddaughters; Alison Lanciault of Shrewsbury, Melanie Desley of So. Yormouth, Sabrina Lanciault of So. Boston and one great grandson, Gavin Desley.

Funeral services will be held Sat. Feb. 6, 2010 at 11 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St. (Rt. 122), Uxbridge, MA 01569.

Internment will be private in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon St., Uxbridge.

Visiting hours will be held Sat. Feb. 6, 2010 from 10-11 AM prior to the funeral service.
