John M. Stanley Jr.

Milford – John M. Stanley Jr., 73., of Birmingham Ct., died Sat. Jan. 30, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Stanley was employed at Wrentham State School, Wrentham for more than 28 years retiring in 2000. He had previously worked in the security department at Spectrum Health Systems Inc. in Milford for several years.

Mr. Stanley was born Nov. 10, 1936 in Milford the son of the late John M. and Mabel M. (Brown) Stanley Sr. He was a life long resident of Milford and attended Milford schools.

Mr. Stanley was a US Army Veteran.

Mr. Stanley is survived by three sons; Jody Stanley and John M. Stanley III, both of Binghamton,
NY, Jeffrey Stanley of CA., one daughter; Dianna Stanley of VA., three sisters; Helen Jolie of Upton, Lillian Stanley and Marion DiGirolamo, both of Milford, 2 half-brothers, Frank Sarrocco of Milford, Robert Sarrocco of Greenfield, two half-sisters, Frances Brown of Natick, and Delores Sarrocco of Greenfield, 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one half brother, Michael Stanley.

Funeral services will be held on Wed. Feb. 3, 2010 at 10 AM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA 01757
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cedar St./ Rt. 85 , Milford.

Visiting hours will be Wed. Feb. 3, 2010 from 9-10 AM prior to the funeral service.
