Louise A. Quinlan
Milford - Louise A. (Cenedella) Quinlan, 94, of Harris Ave., died Wed. Jan. 20, 2010 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Quinlan who died in 2002.
Mrs. Quinlan was employed at the Wrentham State Hospital for many years and was a housekeeper for several families in Milford.
Mrs. Quinlan was born February 27, 1915 in Milford, the daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Ristelli) Cenedella. She was a graduate of Milford High School and was a life long resident of Milford.
Mrs. Quinlan was a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church for more than 50 years where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Churchs Ladies Union. Mrs. Quinlan was also a member of the Ladies Aid Auxiliary at Milford Hospital. She played the piano and enjoyed watching game shows on television. For the past several years, Mrs. Quinlan had resided at the Geriatric Authority of Milford where she enjoyed playing the piano for other residents and playing at the church services at the Geriatric Authority.
Mrs. Quinlan is survived by one son Richard L. Quinlan of Port Orange, FL; two daughters Elizabeth A. Quinlan and Patricia L. Berry both of Milford; one sister Lillian Bailey of San Diego, CA; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was pre-deceased by one sister Gloria Keating.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at 10 AM in the Pine St. Baptist Church, 41 Pine St., Milford, 01757 with interment to follow at the Vernon Grove Cemetery, Vernon St., Milford, 01757.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 from 3-7 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, 01757.
