Millville - Laura (Richardson) Anderson, 89, of Ironstone St., passed away Mon. Jan. 11, 2010 at home. She was the wife of Ralph J. Anderson.
Mrs. Anderson was employed for 37 years with National Grid in the former Uxbridge office and at the Westborough office as a switchboard operator.
She was born and raised in Uxbridge the daughter of the late Elias and Laura May (Ballou) Richardson and attended Uxbridge schools.
A resident of Millville for over 50 years, she was a longtime member, Treasurer, and Sunday School teacher of the former Millville Methodist Church and was active with that church’s Women’s Society. She also enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother Elias Richardson, Jr. of Uxbridge, 2 sisters Olive Pendleton of Uxbridge and Leona Tanner of Warwick, RI; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Daniel Richardson, Sr., Oliver Richardson, Ruth Wittaker, Fannie Williams, Elsie Richardson, and Nellie Martinson.
Funeral services will be private. There are no public visiting hours.
