Morene A. Blanchard

Uxbridge – Morene A. (Palmer) Blanchard, 89, of Hill St. died Sat. Jan. 2, 2010 in the St. Camillus Health Care Center, Whitinsville. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Blanchard who died in 1991.

Mrs. Blanchard was employed in the Textile Industry.

Mrs. Blanchard was born July 24, 1920 in Uxbridge, a daughter of the late William and Ada (Murdock) Palmer. She was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge and graduated from Uxbridge High School.

She is survived by one son Frank E. and his wife Virginia A. (Houle) Blanchard of Cullman, AL, a brother Clarence Palmer of Uxbridge, a sister Ada Scuncio of Warwick, RI, 4 grandchildren; Keith Blanchard of Lake Mary, FL, Scott Blanchard of Marietta, GA, Michael Blanchard of Uxbridge and Lisa (Blanchard) Paulhus of Whitinsville and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son Richard J. Blanchard who died in 2005.

Funeral services will be held Fri. Jan. 8, 2010 at 11 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St.,(Rt. 122) Uxbridge, MA 01569.

Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon St. (Rte. 16), Uxbridge.

Visiting hours will be held Fri. Jan. 8, 2010 from 10-11 AM prior to the service in the funeral home.
